HPM- Kita's app [Remastered!]

History:

Kita’s earliest memories were of the Icirrus City Orphanage, but she happily grew up in Lacunosa; the town of the olden days. Her adopted father Jeffrey Fluttil, or “Uncle Jeffy” as he told Kita to call him, owned a blacksmith in the town and made and fixed tools and weapons for the townspeople and knights alike. The knights were the town’s pride and joy; they help the town and other nearby villages. The Knights of Lacunosa were more like guardsman, but they kept the title because of old customs.

One day, her father had to make a delivery to a far off village, and left Kita in charge of the shop. Kita was more than happy to “hold the fort” so to speak while he was away. However, after he had left, unsettling rumors were spreading around the town. A regular of her father’s shop came in, telling her about the Pokemon of the Giant Chasm becoming very aggressive, and attacking people out on the road.

Kita worried for her father greatly, and worried even more when he didn’t return on the day he said he would. For days, she worried about her father, and the rumors of the aggressive pokemon had yet to stop. She didn’t know what she would do if anything happened to her father...

Then one day, a customer came in with relieving news: her father had just arrived back in town. Kita bolted out of the shop to reunite with her father.

And thank the gods, he was in one piece! He apologized to his daughter, explaining about the aggressive pokemon, and that he was helping out the knights fend them off by repairing their armor and weapons. He also was offered an escort home, and had to wait until things had quieted down.

Kita had a newfound respect towards the knights. She thanked the again and again, and her father had to practically drag her back home.

Over the past few days, Kita had been distracted; she just couldn’t stop thinking about the knights! It must of felt wonderful to see a smile on someone’s face after helping them, even if they forgot to say thank you; to patrol the streets for the betterment of the people and to know that they trusted and respected you.

After thinking about it long and hard, Kita approached her father one day, proclaiming “Uncle Jeffy, I wanna be a knight so I can help people!”

At first, Jeffery was a taken aback, and worried. He was worried that Kita wanted to be a knight for all the wrong reasons. That soon changed when Kita explained “I don’t wanna be a knight just cause they’re amazing n all. I wanna help people! I wanna be there for the people Uncle! Cause that’s what bein’ a knight s’ bout right?”

After that, Kita’s training began. Life for her went on as it usually did, with the exception of her now training to be a knight. Life and training went on fine enough, with mishaps here and there. Other than that, Kita grew a happy, “normal” life.

Until she reached her 20s. An issue arose that Kita never thought she would have to face, and she felt ill prepared for:

Romance, courtship... love.

It was not Kita who had eyes for someone, it was the other way around. A man, a knight even, had fallen for her. “Love at first sight” he had said.

He had approached her one day, trying to sweep her off her feet as soon as he spoke to her. Putting his arms around her, saying things that made her feel... uncomfortable. Not wanting to be rude to someone she had just met, Kita tired her best to have a conversation with the man. In the end, she found an excuse to go elsewhere. Honestly she thought that would be the last of him.

He was persistent though, and continuously sought her out. He would boast to his friends about her as if they were a couple. The situation was confusing to Kita; this wasn’t how love was right? She honestly had no clue. What she did know is that for the first time in her life, she hated someone. And hate was a strong word.

Sadly, this became apart of her daily life. And it only got worse. It got to the point where he dared to speak of marriage between himself and her! It was becoming too much. A temporary solution arose; Kita’s aunt and uncle in another town where in need of help with their beekeeping. She had no experience with such a thing, but she felt that she would take any chance to get away. Unfortunately, he had caught wind of Kita’s plan to move and confronted her about it.

This resulted in the two engaging in an angry, vicious argument. Many things were said, things that left a mark on Kita and to this day still vex her. After it was said and done, the both of them were bitter and spiteful toward one another. Yet, he was still aiming to have her, and she had have just enough if it all.

Thankfully, the day came when she moved in with her aunt and uncle to help them with their beekeeping. It took a while for her to get use to the new village, living away from her father’s blacksmith, and the beekeeping, but Kita grew to love the change. More so since he was out of the picture for good... or so she hopped.

Upon visiting her father on day, Kita had gotten wind of a rumor; a knight was planning on dueling a trainee for her hand in marriage. Apparently, there were no known rules against this. After all, it was an old custom for courtship issues to be settled with duels. She had never been so horrified until then, she was at a loss of what to do. She was strong yes... for her size. Kita was outmatched and she knew it. If she declined, then she would be shamed, if she accepted and lost...

Kita was at an all new low, and her aunt was the one who noticed first. She approached her niece, asking what was wrong. Kita told her the whole story, and the issue she was currently facing. She felt like she had to go elsewhere, she didn’t want to be here anymore! As much as she hated the idea of running away... Kita felt like there were no other options.

Kita’s aunt had this to say.

“I’m sorry that this had to happen to you, my dear... This must be so hard for you... By the way Kita. My husband and I heard of an island change where many have been flocking too. Businesses, farms, and ranches have been springing up all over the area! We did talk about maybe moving there ourselves and continuing our beekeeping... But I think I know someone who could be better off moving there than us...”

Dog's Name: Gawain
Dog's History/Personality: Gawain originally belonged to Kita's Uncle Jeffy. This loyal and robust Houdour had been with his old master ever since he was a pup. He was always very serious, and took pride in being the best and well trained dog around. Gawain always made sure to stick by his master's side. That is until Uncle Jeffy gave Gawain to Kita as a parting gift, now the poor Houndour is stuck with some danger prone kid and a babysitting job. He has good manners, and is very calm and well trained. 
Dog's Ability: Flash Fire _{Powers up Fire-Type moves if it by one.} 
Dog's Move Set: 

Bite- _{The user bites with vicious fangs. It may make the foe flinch}
Flamethrower- _{The foe is scorched with intense flames. The foe may suffer a burn.}
Protect- _{Foils attack that turn. It may fail.}
Roar- _{Makes the foe flee to end the battle.}

Talents:

• Kita is an excellent swordsman
• She has a knack for caring for bug Pokemon, thanks to her working with her aunt and uncle with their beekeeping.
• Some say she’s good at storytelling
• ^ This is because she likes to exaggerate, and is good at it

Not Talents:

• Don’t give her a bow, something bad ALWAYS happens.
• Sowing, nope.
• Is being fashionable a talent? Well, either way she sucks at it (as far as women standards go...)
• For some reason, she never got the hang of taking care of birds...

Fun Facts

• !!! She has currently obtained her “Pension to Knighthood”, which means she’s another step closer to becoming a knight.
- “Pension to Knighthood” is a document stating that Kita isn’t a total nutjob knights do infact still function, and what their duties are, or can be. Kita needs this document because she’s trying to become a knight somewhere other than Lacunosa, so she needs to show this document to the head of where she’s living to show that she’s not crazy being serious about becoming a knight.
• !!! After coming back from getting her “Pension to Knighthood,” Kita has acquired quite a few nasty scars... she doesn’t like talking about it. If asked, one may see Kita’s rare angry face.

• Her mannerism is outdated.
• Kita was a late bloomer in terms of her totem, she has a lot of old photographs of when she was a child. She did not have a totem until the age of 10.
• Is afraid of fire larger than cooking fires, and the food chain... biiirrrrds.
• With her ability Swarm, the whites of Kita’s eyes turn yellow and her eye color darkens. This happens when she’s been roughed up quite a bit, or when she’s extremely stressed.
• Due to her past experience with “love,” Kita refuses to go out of her way to win some man’s heart. She believes that she’s not feminine enough for any man to be attracted. If someone tries to win her heart, they should tread with care...
• She owns no dresses, and owns mostly masculine clothes.
• She loves being outdoors and working.
• Her favorite Season is Spring.
• ^^^ Spring is the season of the goof, she will totally be rolling around in flowers and dorking about.

• Every month or so, her father will send her weapons, shields and armor pieces for her to test out. She use to do this for him when she was still living with him, and she missed it. She tests out the stuff he makes for fun.

• She patrols the town everyday, or, every other day.

Likes:

-Sweets, she loves white chocolate the most, but not really dark chocolate.
-Aside from chocolate, Kita loves more than anything: Pecha Berries pickled in Honey. Give her this, and there’s a high chance that she will squeal like a little girl, and immediately pretend that never happened.
-Flowers, her favorite flower is Hydrangea, but her favorite flower that bloom on trees are Pearl Blossoms.
-Trying new things, as long as its not stupid, dangerous, or stupidly dangerous.

Dislikes:

-Trash, she will go out of her way to pick trash up if she sees any on the ground.
-Womanizers, she’ll bite.
-Bitter food, doesn’t like eating stuff like that.
